Does the 1.4L TSI timing chain issue affect all Touran model years?
The 1.4L TSI engine (engine codes CAVC, CTHA) fitted to 1T Touran models from approximately 2006 onward is known to experience timing chain tensioner wear, which can lead to chain stretch and rattle on cold starts.
